The XXXII Summer Olympic Games — postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic — were held in Tokyo from 23 July to 8 August 2021. The weightlifting events ran 24 July – 4 August at the Tokyo International Forum.
Armenia entered two lifters. Simon Martirosyan won silver in the men's 109 kg class with a 423 kg total (195 + 228, Olympic record); Izabella Yaylyan finished 7th in the women's 59 kg class with 205 kg.
